that u.s. marine veteran adrian burrell shot and posted on social media of the confrontation with a vallejo police officer. burrell says he shot the video at his home, while he was waiting for his cousin --- seen here on the motorcycle. he says the officer then walked up onto his pourch and started to try and detain him. burrell says he got a concussion from the incident. he says the officer let him go after he found out he was a veteran. an internal investigation has been launched to look into the encounter. ( darya ) since then, both men have hired attorneys, their lawyers say the officer was out of line..burrell and his cousin have not filed a formal complaint yet,they hope to have a conversation with the vallejo police chief first.. after witneeses told police that a man matching his description was beating a homeless man with a stick. this happened behind the "el brinquito restaurant" on piner road. police found the homeless man's body near the scene. police say the victim had several injuries from blunt force trauma. ( james ) in the south bay ... police arrested two men who were prowling behind a home in milpitas. here are the men. on the left is 44-year-old laine barnes ... and on the right if 37-year- old danny gutierrez. a neighbor reported to police about the two men in the backyard of a home on the 400 block of rosewell drive. when police arrived ... they found the two men broke into the backyard and were also going through the victims car. the men were also holding what police believe is meth. technicians are fed up with neg marin general is threatening to make their current health plan even more expensive.in about an hour there will be about 20 engineers out here and 65 imaging technicans.the techinicians contract ended in october while engineers contract expires today.their current plan allows employees to choose their doctors and pay a reasonable amount to insure themselves and their families.however - the new plan would force many employees to find new doctors because it doesn't include access to nearby hospitals operated by kaiser permanete or sutter health.a main general spokesperson ys compared to other hospitals in the area the hospitals proposed healthcare plan are very generous.the hospital says the proposed plan would be free to eligible employees and their families with access

monk -- pulled a prison-made weapon and put it to the librarian's throat. the librarian managed to pepper spary monk. he then dragged the librarian to the corner of the room as negotiators and tactical teams lined the hallways. but as time went on --- the effects of the pepper spray got worse. the tactical teams took advantage and sprang into action. they managed to get the librarian out safely and put monk into custody. monk is currently serving 97 years in prison but he's going to face new charges for what officials are calling quote "reprehensible criminal actions."
